Gabriel Paredes is a fashion designer.

Started moulding themselves as a plastic artist from an earlier age, as a mean to communicate their interior. At age seventeen, he shifted into garment design, where he decided to make fashion his life.

He studied Industrial Design at Universidad del Istmo de Guatemala, as well as taking art courses at Istituto Marangoni. While studying, he interned with brands like Eduardo Figueroa and Thelma Davila.

He directs and creates from his brand, hrstka, since 2017. He has shown collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Guatemala in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020; in 2019, he was showcased as the winner of Moda Pais' The Startup project.

In the same way, his work has been presented in other Fashion Weeks in Honduras and Panama, in 2020.

His work has been published in national and international media, like Vogue Italia, Vogue Mexico, L'Officiel Argentina and Traffic Costa Rica, among others.
